Cymbalta Withdrawals

Hi all, first time here. I have severe fibromyalgia, bipolar and ADHD. I have been in a lot of pain from the fibro and neck problems despite being given high doses of oxycodone four times a day. I have been. really depressed, unmotivated, indecisive, anxious and somewhat isolated. I finally couldn't take it anymore and went to my psych provider as a walk in. After I told him what had been going on, he decided I should try Cymbalta. From the very first capsule I took, my fibro pain WENT AWAY completely. But here is the problem. I started reading about the drug's lovely side effects and the horrible withdrawal that comes when one gets off of it and I don't know what to do. I am already sweating, leg twitches, and feeling anxious. i don't think I want to take this drug because its not safe. I'm just wondering if I stopped taking it after only 3 days, would I experience withdrawals?? Anyone have any experiences with this?.

Cymbalta is an antidepressant that has been known to also help with certain types of nerve pain, according to the NIH.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and weight changes.

And no, after just a few days, it isn't likely that you would experience withdrawal issues.

However, what specific issues are you concerned about that make you feel it isn't safe?

Cymbalta was tough to off. Zoloft was the aftershock and the Klonopin WAS the worst, and I was prescribed them at once, then my insurance got cut... Talk about a bad 3 months...

Honestly it sounds more like opiate withdrawal ! Try Suboxone it worked miricles for me ,no cold sweats, vomiting,restless leg syndrome !
