Cravings Wanna Go Back On It

I have been clean 10 months and for the last 3 months all I can think of is getting high again. I want to start using but I don't wanna go back to the endless search. Does anyone know if suboxone would help?

kate,I AM SURE SUBOXONE WOULD HELP YOU GREATLY.I WAS TAKING LOTS OF LORCET FOR MANY YRS.DUE TO BACK PAIN.I WENT TO DETOX FOR 4DAYS AND WAS OUT.I FELT GOOD UNTIL THE SUB. WORE OFF.I SUFFERED FOR 23 DAYS BEFORE GOING BACK TO THE OPIATES.I FOUND A DR. ON;INE THAT WOULD PRESCRIBE SUB. FOR ME.I HAVE BEEN ON SUB. FOR 12 DAYS NOW AND FEEL GREAT AND NEVER EVEN THINK OF THE PILSS.SURE NOT LIKE I WAS.I AM NOT SURE HOW LONG I AM GOING TO BE ON THE SUB. BUT HE DR. STARTED ME OUT ON 16MG DAY FOR 5DAYS AND NOW I AM ON 8MG DAY FOR A MONTH.THEM I GO BACK TO DR AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.YOU WOULD BE VERY GLAD AFTER YOUR FIRST DOSE OF SUB.NO LINGERING THOUGHTS OF DRUGS,AT LEAST NOT FOR ME.GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS

I promise you Suboxone will help you, i have been clean for almost a year and i couldn't have done it with out Sobox. i have taken it longer than i should but it's better than using. you never want that life back....i know you miss the high but life is so much better sober. Life is to short to waste it on a 30 min high.....and the money you spend.

I NO LONGER HAVE THE EXACT SITE THAT I USED.BUT I DID A GENERAL SEARCH AND FILLED OUT AN ON-LINE AP. AND THE DRS. OFFICE CONTACTED ME.
I HAVE BEEN ON THE SUBOXONE NOW FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS AND TAPERING OFF.I STARTED ON 8MGS TWICE A DAY AND NOW AM ON 4MGS TWICE A DAY.DOING GREAT TOO. NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER.I ADVISE YOU TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET ON THIS DRUG.IT PROBABLY SAVED MY LIFE.GOOD LUCK,AND IF I FIND THE SITE I USED,I WILL POST IT.GOD BLESS YOU ALL

10 months is along time to be completely clean from taking drugs. And it sounds like you didnt have help from anything such as menthedone or suboxone to do it. By my experience in trying to get and stay clean i first started going to NA meetings. Im not sure if you have ever attended a meeting, but going to meetings you learn that 1 is to many and a 1000 is never enough. You never leave an NA meeting feeling worse than when you first walked through the door. As for the suboxone treatment, it is a wonder drug. It really does work for all types of addicts.

Ive used suboxone to get off of opiates, it is my understanding though that is works best in the early symptoms of withdrawal. Like within the first two days; so if you've been clean 10 monthes no doctor is going to prescribe this to you. If you know anyone who takes suboxone, maybe you could try one. I personally think suboxone works great.

HERE IS A SUGGESTION ON A MEDICATION THAT I KNOW HAS HELPED PEOPLE GOING THROUGH WITHDRAWL, CRAVINGS ETC- MY PHARMICIST CALLS IT AMAZING. ITS CYMBALTA & YOU HAVE TO BE GETTING 60MG A DAY FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD TO HELP YOU. IT IS LISTED AS A DRUG FOR DEPRESSION BUT THE DOCTOR SAYS IT HAS SOME AFFECT ON SOME CHEMICALS IN OUR BRAIN TO HELP WITH PAIN & GETTING OFF NARCOTICS. ITS A VERY HARD LONG ROAD BUT A VERY GOOD THING TO DO. NARCOTICS ONLY WORK FOR SHORT PERIODS OF TIME & YEARS OF HELL & ADDICTION ARE PART OF A LIFE ON NARCOTICS. GOOD LUCK & GOD SPEED- YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

I was a heroin addict for years then was on methadone for years. i tried over and over to kick it but failed time and time again. I got on subaxone about a year ago now. It is great. Seriously. Dont EVER EVER EVER get on methadone. It is slavery just like heroin. Suboxone wasn't available when I got on methadone or I would have tried it first. Suboxone can change your life. You won't have cravings. No going to dumb clinics everyday. I just can't get a straight answer from anyone about how to get off it. Is it hard? How long does it take? I kicked methadone for 30 days and was still sick and feeling so depressed. Thats when I found Suboxone. Can anyone tell me how long Suboxone withdrawal is for? I hear you may not have any w/d/ but I quit it once and was fine until the 3 or 4th day. No one can answer that question! Not even my doctor! Any help would be appreciated GREATLY. And please listen about the methadone. It helps you but TRAPS YOU. Good luck. I will pray for all of you on here. <3

literally I believe suboxone to be the single best decision I've ever made in my life. I fought it for years, everyone wanted me to go one it but I was afraid to give up the life that I'd known so long and the misery that I'd become accustomed to. As addicts we don't like change, it's comfortable for us living in our demented world because there are no surprises and we know what to expect. It was a hard decision to make at the time but I had run out of options, money, dealers, pride, and was going tolose my kids and husband (again). I started on it and ofcourse didn't listen to what the dr prescribed (it was always what I did) so I took a few extra's the first couple of days. I told the Dr. when I went in and he wasn't too hapy about it but I assured him I would adhere to the therapy. I have alife now that I could never have dreamed of!!! Wonderful family life, I'm a very good Mommy now and daughter, sister, wife, friend and everything else. I'd become a human again. If you can find a good Dr. Stick with the ones on the Suboxone website because they are legit. If you have insurance alot of them take it. I'm so lucky that I have insurance that will pay for the Dr. and the films. Follow the protocal and wait for the miracle to occur. It's simply amazing the change it made in my life. I'm very lucky and alot of addicts are not in the same position as me and it's sad. With such an epidemic of drug users you would figure the Government would do more to treat and less to jail them, ya know. But I wish you all the luck in the world. Stay away fromt he internet quacks.
