Core Pharma Generic Adderall Complaints

I couldn't find my Adderall at Walmart this month. They said they had been on back order. I went to Kroger and they had no trouble filling it which made me very suspicious. Why if everyone else is on back order, why did Kroger have no trouble filling it. Well I found out. These generics, round pink made me fill like jello. I have been on Adderall for years; being disabled for 20 years. I am prescribed 2 30mg in the AM and 2 30mg in the early afternoon. I have never had this reaction. I take them and want to go back to sleep. It takes everything to get out of bed. And my cognitive part of my brain just doesn't work. I can't concentrate, focus on anything at all; I am usually with the other generic supper organize and can multitask. But not with this generic brand who I found out is made by Core Preaction. Plus my insurance company and I couldn't afford it. But I decided I needed the generic Adderall to control my Attention Deficient Disorder and help with my Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia. But I wasted my money and worse it has left me in a useless state. Has anyone else had similar affect and any suggestions on what to do. Am I stuck with this useless prescription for a month or can I get a new prescription from a different distributor? Any suggestions?

That's because you did not receive 30mg pills. Corepharma is a skimp for profit company. They may say it's a 30mg pill but it's actually a 15-20 mg pill.
I have had a horrible experience with the Corepharma generic adderall. I've been having severe anxiety issues and no focus even after starting Cymbalta. I just switched back to the Teva generic (orange oval) and my anxiety issues are gone! Now I've done some research. Many people have had horrible experiences with this Corepharma. I had no idea that pharmacies could sell knock-off substitutions like this as "generic."
I take CNS stimulants for EDS (excessive daytime somnolence), ADD (not ADHD) and clinical depression . I've had the same problems with the generic Adderall (20 mg, bright pink, marked COR 135). I would take one and immediately go back to sleep. Even if I managed to stay awake, I walked around in a daze (which I attributed to "fibro fog," as I also have fibromyalgia). At first I thought I was just developing a tolerance to them. Three months ago, my doc had me try taking two in the morning and one in the afternoon, and the effects were just as bad or worse. I went back to spacing them out to 3 times a day. For 3 months the sleepiness and "fog" have made it difficult for me to get out of bed or get anything done. I told my doc about this at my appointment today, and she said a lot of her patients have complained about the same thing--and that there have also been numerous complaints nationwide about the generic Adderall from several different pharmaceutical companies (one of them being "Cor"). For now, she's switching me to Provigil...still the generic, but at least I know to be on the alert. Now I'm feeling pretty stupid that It took me so long to figure out there must be something wrong with my medication. I knew Big Pharma doesn't have our best interests at heart, but I thought that was manifested only in the form of exhorbitant prices; now I realize that drug manufacturers don't even necessarily operate with any conscience about their products' effects on our health. Caveat emptor!
Hello, Dawn! How are you?
What are the markings on the tablets you received from Kroger? That information would enable me to check them out for you.
It isn't unusual for one drug store to still have something in stock, even if some others have it on backorder. It just depends on how many customers they usually have.
There can be fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients, when you go from one generic to another, or from the name brand to a generic, as permitted by the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, so it's possible that these new ones are a little lower than the others that you were taking.
Has anyone else had a similar problem with these tablets?
The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, insomnia and weight loss.
