Confused Thoughts And Memory Loss
UpdatedI have been taking 400 mil Lamictall for bipolar 1 --for about a year and have noticed I have gradual memory loss and confusion since I've begun this drug. I leave water running, put stuff in the wrong places and can't seem to focus anymore. I feel spacey most or all of the time. Is this a normal side effect for this drug?

Yes, most of these types of medications can cause that, with long-term use.
Of course, the worry is the possible danger, say if you left the stove on, or your car in gear, thus I'd suggest speaking to your physician, perhaps there's a different medication you can try.
Are there any other questions or concerns?
