Clofanec contains the active ingredient Diclofenac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. Yes, it may cause liver damage or failure, but that's very rare and usually occurs with prolonged use of high doses. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, stomach irritation and headache.
