Coming Off Temazepam

I have had anxiety/depression for 30 plus years.I was on venlafaxine for years but was taken off it.I was ill in the summer like a breakdown.
My doctor has put me back on 75mg venlafaxine 200 mgs trazadone 5mg librium at night which I have to come off. i have just come off 5mg it wasn't too bad.I am also on5mg temazepamfor sleep
which i have been on for 15 years.
I need to come off this after librium. I know i am addicted to temazepam and when i cut it down can't sleep feel awful. I really could do with some advice as I get very sleepless. Does anyone have any ideas slimmindown recommended using Unisom I would like her advice on whether that would help me.

Has your doctor provided any advice? Why do you have to stop taking it?

Temazepam is a Benzodiazepine, so you do have to taper off of it slowly, or it may cause seizures, which could be dangerous.
