Coming Off Of Suboxen After 5 Years

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and started using pain killers for years to cope with working and then was prescribed suboxen 24mg that's 8mg 3 times a day for about 5 years. From my experience suboxen is very strong for pain and stores in your bones and fat so it takes a whole month for it to completely come out of your body. SO INSTEAD OF THE SLOW PAINFULL POCESS OF TAPERING OFF OF THE SUBOXEN I find it easier to replace it with pain killers/opiates for about a month and then use the suboxen for a few days! The levels will drop and the suboxen will come out of your system with out the with drawls. If your experiencing with drawls from suboxen you may want to try marijuana to sleep and help with the pain, eating and anxiety. Also staying hydrated (water), taking vitamins, advil. If you don't need suboxen for pain I would not take for more then 3 days as it is the worst withdrawls you will experience!

Unfortunately, that may not actually work, due to the fact that the Suboxone contains Buprenorphine, and Naloxone, and its specific intent is to prevent someone being able to use other opiates, while being treated with it. The Naloxone neutralizes other opiates, and the Suboxone takes a far stronger hold on your opiate receptors that other opiates do, so they don't even get a chance to work.

The best thing to do would be to consult your doctor, and follow their instructions to taper off the Suboxone.

The typical withdrawal effects of Suboxone may include nausea, diarrhea, headache, seizures, rebound pain, headaches, and joint/muscle aches.

Is there anything I can help with?
