Clonazepam With Suboxone

I'm trying to kick suboxone, a friend gave me some clonazapam, will this work. I want to kick, not get another habit though.

The FDA classifies Clonazepam as a benzodiazepine, it is most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It does carry the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

That said, it may help with some withdrawal symptoms, but its doubtful that it will alleviate them all and yes, you could just be trading one addiction for another.

Suboxone is a narcotic analgesic that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Yes it will work. However, it won't work if you're an addict. Start there and be honest with yourself. If you're taking subs to treat an addiction or maybe just for pleasure, you'll end up doing the same thing with clonazepam. Why do you want to quit subs? I take them because I'm an addict. I started at 16mg per day and have tapered down to 2mg per day. They treat my restless leg which is why I started abusing opiates in the first place. If I have to take it for the rest of my life I will. It's better than the alternative.
