I've been taking these medications for the last 4 years, 2 tablets per day. Lately I've been using 3 tablets per day as it is most useful for me to reduce the depression and anxiety. If this can cause side effects what is another alternative I could use?

Both medications can help and depending on several factors, exacerbate anxiety and depression. If it were me I would get off both of these and possibly get on a single antidepressant if it is depressiont you are having issues with.
It's important to ask this and any questions regarding prescribed medications TO THE PERSON THAT PRESCRIBED the medications. People here only know what you've written in a couple lines. Whereas the prescribing person should know much more indeed.
Unless you are using the propranolol for stage fright or a rapid heart rate that causes shortness of breath, I'd get off of that first.
