Citalopram Generic

Taking citalopram. An old manufacturer under the name of CAMB worked perfect. Pharmacy changed manufactures and the new one 'CIPL' is not working. Anxiety returned. I am told the pharmacy can't get CAMB anymore. Any thoughts?

Which manufacturer your pharmacy carries, at any given time, can depend on who was offering the cheapest price at the time they needed to restock their supply. There can be minor fluctuations between generic medications, but they are so slight that most people adjust in a week, or so, once their body gets used to the one from the new manufacturer, according to the FDA.

However, if you prefer the one manufactured by Camber Pharmaceuticals, a different pharmacy may carry it, you may want to ask around.
