I have been prescribed Ciplar 40 for thyroiditis. I wanted to know if its the correct drug?

Ciplar contains the active ingredient Propranolol, which is a beta blocker used to treat high blood pressure and some other cardivascular problems.

Have you had high blood pressure at any point?

It should actually be used with extreme caution in patients with hyperthryoids, as it can cause some complications.

Have you spoken to your doctor about why they prescribed this?
