This is nothing more than a nutritional supplement that contains a form of vitamin C, so as reported by the U.S. FDA, it has no known side effects, except for sometimes causing your urine to turn yellow.

It likely will not, however, help with dark circles. Are you on any other medications? How much sleep do you get?
