Cannot Fill Morphine Er 30 Mg - Every Pharmacy Is Out Of Stock In In

i live in indiana and am and can't fill it - every pharmacy i call is out of stock. i have called walgreens, CVS, wal-mart, meier, and grocer pharmacies - no on has morphine ER 30 mg.

there are several other recent posts stating the same problem. something is most definitely going on, just don't know what. i NEED this medication NOW.

The problem here is caused by you calling the pharmacies. Since they have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief, they will just tell you that they don't carry it or have it in stock. Morphine is a controlled substance and pharmacies have been robbed over it.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Thus, to actually get an accurate answer, you'll need to physically go in to the pharmacies with the prescription in hand.

There's NO shortage of Morphine anywhere. If you need to fill a prescription and your usual pharmacy doesn't have enough in stock can they not order it? If they say "no" they don't have it and "no" they won't or can't order it you must physically take yourself to another pharmacy to try and fill it. If the second store doesn't have any & can't order it, I'd go to the Dr's office and ask the nurse if she or he could help you find some. THEY can call around for you. Pharmacists can do anything they want where your schedule II prescription is concerned. They can lie, lie and lie. It's up to the individual Pharmacist to decide whether they'll fill it. If the person doesn't like the dress you're
wearing or the tone of your voice they can lie to you and say they don't have it, can't get it. Also, if they don't have it ask them if they mind calling another one of their stores to ask. I've NEVER been told "no" they won't call another store. If they did I'd have to demand to know why.

Where i live pharmacies cannot tell you over the phone if they have scheduled drugs in stock. Just like a bank wont give an account number out over the phone. We have to go to the pharmacy physically like another commen said. I feel like its a safety and avoidance of a million calls a day from seekers.
Good luck!!! I know how it feels to have an onset of withdrawal when the doctor put you on the medication and now cant fill it because i couldnt find a pharmacy that had what i needed filled.

I am not sure how to post a question, as I never have. But I am wondering if anyone else is sick of the runaround and head games. Every month the pharmacy is out of one of my prescriptions or the other. So my refill dates are now over two weeks apart. And the pharmacy employees act like it’s no big deal. If I was diabetic, I am Quite sure no one would expect me to go a week without my insulin. I am really sick of this. So today I walked a few miles on a foot that is either Very badly sprained or broken. I’m fed up! I really am!! Pharmacies should have an obligation to keep their stock up! Anyone know where I’m coming from???
