Can You Take Tylenol And Hydro S Together

I want to know if you can only take Tylenol because of surgery in a few days can I take hydro's for something a little stronger?

he Tylenol ONLY (TY is commonly known among docs as APAP) is because it cannot cause bleeding such as aspirin, Motrin, LOrduis and other NSAIDS. In fact, a few oral surgeons have told me that, PRN, a strong opiate plus 500-12g of APAP provides enhanced analgesia. I only write for opiates for my sister, who IS a p;atgient and gets occasional severe migraine-type heat episodes. Fortunately, a pharmacist called me because she was using way too much Imitrex and Relpax (sp?) Those drugs aren't meant to be taken daily — that's for sure. The pharmacist asked if I would back her in her belief that Rx was written in "bad faith" (not as dire as it sounds) and I said sure. She as worried about a Take-No-Prisoners Prosecutor Sister rather than an licensure issues. I sent her for a thorough workup which as I suspected, yielded nothing, but the pain and nausea are real. She can con every other doc in the APA, but not her big brother. I prescribe Percocet 10/325 and Thorazine 25mg (backup Rx for suppositories) and I keep a weather eye on the timing and amounts. It is not a legal requirement for me to see a patient physically got write Schedule II Rx, but I made tone of our "contractual" terms/

If you have been told that you should only take Tylenol/Acetaminophen, then that is all you should take. There are reasons for it, due to the bleeding and possible interactions with anesthesia that some other drugs can cause.

And Hydrocodone is a narcotic, so yes, it could cause some problems.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
