Can You Take Ibuprofen With Sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim (Top voted first)
UpdatedI was prescribed sulfamethoxazole + trimethoprim 800/160MG TB (not sure what all that means), but it is for a bladder infection. I've taken 2 tablets a day for 5 days. I just got a bad headache and don't know if i can take Advil/Ibuprofen while taking sulfamethoxazole?

What that means is that it is a generic for the antibiotic Bactrim and is in tablet form. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
And yes, they are often prescribed together to help treat the pain that some infections can cause, but you should always double check with your doctor to make sure it is safe for you to take them both.
Has there been any improvement, yet?
