I'm taking sulfamethoxazole and I got a headache. I usually take 3/200 mg of ibuprofen for headaches is that okay to take with sulfamethoxazole?

I took one this morning around 8 n took ibuprofen around 3 is that OK?

No, Sulfamethoxazole can actually increase the levels of the Ibuprofen, which could cause toxicity and/or overdose, so this combination should be avoided, unless your doctor has said that it's safe for you to take them together.

Side effects to this antibiotic may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
