Can You Stop Taking Levothyroxine

I have taken levothyroxine for eleven months starting 25ml rising to 75ml I have gone from bad to hell I can no longer believe this is doing me anything but harm ,the high blood pressure the cramps to legs buttocks hands to name but a few ,the feeling of choking lack of air it's driving me mad . I have never been a pill taker I had watched my mother sink under 30+pills a day to renal failure to withdrawing herself from dialysis . I swore I would not let the NHS do this to me and here I am taking pills that make me feel like hell and more being prescribed for blood pressure and vit D deficiency ect . I cannot go on like this nearly a year getting worse feeling like hell. What can I expect if I stop it all now.

I have been on 25mcg for 3 yesrs then self increased to 37mcg (based upon thyroid panel by another dr) felt fine still felt hypo (May actually have been D deficiency I just found out I have) saw my thyroid dr who increased me ftom he thought 25-50 (really gad been taking 33) well its been a month--dince i take it v early in the am--based upon pill count there have been 5 times i must have taken 2 doses by accident--this last week srvere symptoms--fainty, hypohlycemia, intense heart beat, tachycardia & mad anxiety & vasocontriction. Well of course my dr wants me to come in--according to nurse--but cant afford appointment tight now--today, I didn't tske my levothyroxine--should i stop for 5 days entirely --reduce to 25 & then trynto tsle the prescribed 50? As i said, dont think it was prob w 50--i think it was tje 5 extra doses in the last couple of weeks &!the increased dose if 50 (from 25/33) & read it takes 5 days to "drop"
Down via half-life but dhouldbi totally abstain forb5?dsys? Or cut back--and should i restart at 33 or 50? Please dont tell me to talk to dra office--apparently won't advise w/o appointment & no $$&& til at least next month! Thanks

Had same issue levo is horrible switched to armour feel much better all research I have done shows hypo folks all low onVit D need to take 500mg magnesium when u take ur d or it will mob be absorbed into ur body

if there are no people with swelling from thyroid meds I wont be returning. this is a waste of my time.

I want to stop taking my levothyroxine. I have been on it for 3 years, gained 20lbs dry skin hair falling out. I am on a low dose i am going to stop it can someone tell me wgat to possibly expect?
