Can You Cut Hydrocodone/a Pap 5-300mg In Half?

I took half of a hydrocodone/a pap 5-300 at 6pm and my 0.5mg of clonazepam at 11:30pm
Will I be ok? I have never taken hydrocodone before , just was prescribed for sciatica back pain today and now my anxiety is wanting to get me worried about taking the 2 medications. Please anybody??

They can be taken together, if your doctor approves, but according to NIH reports, you may experience more side effects than usual, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, and shallow breathing.
