Hello, Sylvia! How are you?
You can cut or break any tablet that isn't time released, or doesn't instruct you not to do so on the label, unless your doctor has told you not to do so.
The FDA lists the possible side effects of vitamin D as including nausea and constipation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
