Can U Take Ibuprofen, Hydrocodone And Pencillin Together

I have an enlarged vein that goes thru the muscle of my foot which has caused inflammation in this muscle and it hurts constantly. I was told my vein size is 99 and it should be 45 but before it can be corrected I have to loose 30 lbs in order to receive this procedure. In the meantime I have to suffer with this pain. Is there any medication that can reduce the inflammation and pain?

Dear Wendy,

Sorry to hear about your situation. Concerning the combined use of Penicillin, Ibuprofen and Hydrocodone, umm.edu's drug interaction checker doesn't list any interactions between these three medications. I'm also aware that ibuprofen and hydrocodone are available as one tablet (known as Vicoprofen), effectively ruling out interactions for those two.

As to your other question re: "Is there any medication that can reduce the inflammation and pain?" - I would encourage you to look into options such as: CBD extracts (cannabidiol), juicing daily (fresh fruits/vegetables/herbs), coconut oil, nigella sativa oil, oregano oil, & turmeric, to name a few... and perhaps just taking a more holistic/lifestyle changing approach towards addressing a potential underlying cause of such aggressive inflammation or artery/vein build up.
