That's a risk associated with most medications, so yes, it is possible.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

However, there are so many other things that can also cause or worsen an ulcer that you may never know for sure what caused it.

What treatment has your doctor recommended?
