It would be best to have this checked out by your doctor to see what happened, you might have developed costocondroitis, or you may have separation of the rib cage.
The Lyrica may help, but it takes about 4 to 5 weeks to reach its full level of efficacy in your body. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and weight gain.
