Can I Just Stop Taking Citalopram

I have been on citalopram 10mg for 2 months. The last few weeks I have been getting tremor spasms in my left arm and really bad night sweats.. Can I just stop citalopram safely? I have had blood tests 2 days ago and all is ok.

A slow taper is usually best, stopping abruptly may cause withdrawal effects, which the NIH lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, rebound depression, anxiety, and diarrhea.

Are you on any other medications?
