Can I Go To The Er For Suboxone Withdrawal

I am pregnant and on 3 8 mg a day. My doctor told me I could take 4 a day if I needed it but insurance won't cover 4. So he didn't see the reasonto write 4. Well I am out and it is sunday so I can't call my doctor. I am very sick. If I go to the er can they give me 1 or 2 to make it through the night and tomorrow morning?

You can go to the ER for any type of medical emergency. However, whether or not they give you 1 or 2 suboxone tablets is based on their own discretion. So unfortunately the only way to find out for sure would be to go there in person.

If they are unwilling to give you whatever level of treatment you feel is deemed necessary, perhaps then it would be time to take matters into your own hands and consider natural or alternative therapies that may help mitigate the severity of withdrawal.
