C74 Pill Identification And Usage

Is a c74 the same as azor? Is it ok for someone that is age 90+ with kidney failure and diabetes to take this pill?

No, they are different medications, the tablet with the C 74 marking is manufactured by Aurbindo Pharma and they list it as containing 50mgs of Metoprolol, which is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

There can be risks to taking it, but you would be at much great risk if you let high blood pressure, or a heart condition go untreated, so you should take the medication, if your doctor has instructed you to do so.
