Is the drug class of buspar related to that of clonopins & xanax?

No, it is not.

Buspar contains the active ingredient Buspirone, which is an anxiolytic. It is in a different chemical class, azapirone and isn't considered habit forming.

However, the others that you mentioned are benzodiazepines, which are known to be habit forming and an abrupt withdrawal could also result in seizures.
