Buprenorphine 5mcg Per Hour 7 Day Patch

I will be going to singapore next week stopping for 2 @ half hours in dubia airport then on to singapore I have a repeat prescription for this but am worried as they are very strict on opiates please can anybody put mind at rest thank you............

hi brenda - u will want to get the answers u are looking for by checking with the DEA. I have heard from my friends in recovery who take subox/subutex (not me personally, i have not yet traveled by plane since starting sub) - anyway, to continue, u will want your original prescription bottle with u and do not bring more than just a one month supply - so that's a max of 31 pills...have your prescribing physician type up a letter for you - he or she should be glad to help and i really think u will need to have this. I don't mean to assume as to why u are taking the buprenorphine, but it is used for chronic pain management as well as opiate addiction. Singapore is known for being strict with traveling with meds, especially the controlled substance meds! Protect yourself with privacy, too. If anyone needs to know or they are just plain nosy, u do not have to tell anyone these are a part of your recovery plan and saved your ass! U can always say u are prescribed these for pain management..good luck and when i get more current information I will post it! I need to know the answers myself, so thanks for asking!!
