Brintellix Withdrawal

I stopped taking Brintellix because I couldn't take the vomiting anymore and other issues that my doctor said were side effects of this medicine over the past 3 months and I just suddenly stopped taking it and now I'm experiencing extremely bad anxiety that I can't manage and can't sleep more than a few hours a night. What is going on with me? Will I get over this on my own?

Yes, withdrawal type effects can be normal, after taking it for a few months and then stopping abruptly. It would have been best to taper off of it.

However, they will eventually stop, but it may take a few weeks.

I have been taking brintellex for 7 weeks 10 mg a day my doctor gave. Me samples and did not tell me the cost. I can't afford the brintellex now I'm scared of withdrawal is it really going to last for weeks?

I tapered off brintellix and still had some issues. it remains in your system longer than most ssri's. You will start to fell better but it sure is unpleasant getting rid of this stuff. Hang in there!

Keep asking for samples. It has been a life safer for me. .they have a discount card ask them for it.
