Bontril Twice A Day?

Can you take a bontril SR pill in the morning and then in the late afternoon? I'm feeling sluggish and hungry by 4pm.

No, the slow release tablets are taken just once a day.

However, you may be able to switch to the regular release 35mg ones and take them 2 to 3 times a day. Have you spoken to your doctor about the problem?

The FDA lists this medication as a stimulant that is used to aid in weight loss. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, anxiety, headache, anorexia, sweating and insomnia.
