Best Time Of The Day To Take Prednisone 20mg

I started predizone 20 mg yesterday. Took 3 tabs in the early a m . Directions say 3 tabs for 3 days, then 2 tabs for 4 days ,then 1 tab for 4 days. I felt for a lack of a word moody all day yesterday. And had insomnia last nite. Is there a better time to take the medication

Hi, Itchypoo! Sorry about the side effects.

You may do better off splitting them up throughout the day, that can sometimes help mitigate the side effects. You'd need to check with your doctor to make sure that it's okay for you to do so, but in most cases it is.

It is a steroid class medication, so regardless, you'll most likely still experience some side effects, such as the insomnia and some anxiety.
