i am a diabetic taking metformin 500 mg and duxet 20 mgfor depression.frequetly i drink beer about 1800 ml.it is harmful? please advoice

The reason you are told not to mix alcohol with prescription medications, is because it can enhance/worse the side effects.

With Metformin, these can include: nausea, flatulence, low blood sugar and sun sensitivity.

Duxet contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, an SNRI antidepressant.

Side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and seratonin syndrome.
