Aspirin With High Blood Pressure

I was wanting to know if I can take just regular bayer asprin for my high blood pressure. I'm trying to stay away from doctors how many a day I'm 47. Mine ranges between 170/85 please let me KNOW I don't take any prescription drugs at all. So it would only be asprin white regular.

No, Aspirin can act as a thinner, but it will not lower bp by itself, according to FDA reports. Some people can lower theirs by diet, and exercise, but the problem here is that you are reaching dangerous levels, you are at risk of experiencing a heart attack, stroke, or congestive heart failure.

Even if you don't like taking prescription medications, it might be best to take one, for awhile, until you get things under control, then slowly convert to diet and exercise, as your doctor directs.

Do you take any other over the counter medications? What does your normal diet consist of?
