Anxiety Moraphine Drug Taken Together

my dr saids it's dangerous to take alprazam & moraphine together. is this true?

Yes, it can be, they both increase sedation and cause depression of the central nervous system, which could be dangerous as your breathing, blood pressure and heart rate could fall to very low levels.

The FDA classifies Morphine as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Alprazolam carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

VERWON I TOOK ANXIETY MEDS 15 YRS THEN IN MVA 10 YRS AGO AND STARTED 60MG MORAPHINE AM AND PM. WHEN HOSPITALIZED RECENTY THEY KEPT ME ON BOTH MEDS BUT DID NOT TAKE TOGETHER. BUT THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY. I TAKE 0.5 MG OF ALPRA 2X DAY AND AM VERY CAREFUL BUT I HAVE TO HAVE ALPRA/XANAC BECAUSE I TRIED WITHOUT AND WAS PANIC AND JUST PLAIN SCARED. IT'S A HARD LIFE FOR ME. BE GOOD!
