Hi I'm 22yr old,male. I've been not knowing what's going on in my life till I discovered I was suffering fro,anxiety and mild depression, I'm still,in an abusive home from my father,my parents made me so confused,I don't know if it is the meds,I was on fluoxitine,felt terrible was on for a few months took myself off,felt too horrible,this happened for a few yrs now,now doc wanna pit me again on it,but I hear urbanol is more soothing and relaxes ones body better,doctor what do u suggest,as I suffer from extreme hot flushes,dizziness,always extremely tired and don't feel to do anything,scared of socializing,or when someone I interact with says something I feel like they wanna corner and hurt me,I know,I feel extremely unstable and insecure,especially if challenges face me and stress,I had three jobs already only last for two weeks to three months,symptoms mentioned above is too bad ,in scared,and I feel insecure about standing up for myself in public.im very forgetful too.but I'm aiming to finish my studies and in trying yo be resilient but I feel depleted now,any help,what I may be suffering from?

You'd most likely do better with a medication such as the Fluoxetine, because it is something that you take all the time, rather than just as needed. So it will give you better control of your symptoms on a virtually constant basis.

It can cause some worsening of symptoms for the first 3 weeks or so, but things will usually improve, after that.

Its normal side effects may include nausea, dizziness, weight loss and REM onset latency.
