I just got a refill of 30mg tabs amphetamine salts. This month I have been switched again! I can't find any information on this particular brand - it's imprint is M A30, it's orange and round. The pharm company is Mylan I think. I have had the orange ovals (most effective and metabolized for me), the round pink (made my stomach upset), and now these. I am starting to feel like a guinea pig for any new cheap product that comes along. Distributers don't pay attention to how all of these changes may be affecting the users of their products. Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has tried these orange round tabs from Mylan Pharm Inc??

Go to Walgreen and tell them you need teva it's the only generic you don't have allergic reaction to the pink ones are the worst or anyone with the x imprint on the back they make me sweat profusely and they don't give me any energy they suck!!#

@EE go to Walgreens, at least so far they have not switched to the M A 30's since I last went. I just had to go to CVS because I was in a hurry & got stuck with theme again for this month.
I thought I was losing my mind when I felt a difference when I got the M A 30 tabs. I didn't think it would be possible that simply a different brand would actually be "different". 6 years ago we tried different medications to finally find what worked best for me, which I always called them orange footballs. Haha
Why it's ok for companies to alter the amount of what's in the med makes zero sense to me! Filler, chemical type, anything and say it's the same thing? And I would really like to know if there is a reason why some say "generic for" others say "substituted for"??
Does everyone's M A 30's say "substituted for"? I'm curious if it depends on the pharmacies or if it's regulated by type. Like if the pill has differences in makeup then it bust read one way. If it's the same makeup it should read the other.... hmmm

I agree.for a long time I was on the Orange round ones,then suddenly switched to the pink.I myself think the Orange worked much better for me..also like u said.. The pink ones bother my stomach..ANd after a wk.or so I begin to feel tired.at times just fall asleep

From what I've been told by a few pharmacists, the generics can be up to 30% less potent.

I have the same reaction to this brand I will not take them anymore. Felt like my brain was in a daze wasn't in my own body comes and goes don't like the feeling at all.

Hello Lola, I was just wondering what you don't like about the TEVA generic of 30MG Adderall? They are pretty much the company that comes closest to making the actual brand name adderall....this forum is about the MA30's, now those are straight up bull. But you are right about the Sandoz they are the best IMO but hard to come by unless specially ordered. used to get em but anything that's SANDOZ/TEVA/BARR/CORPHARMA is alright with me.. in that specific order..just know u can have your pharmacist order the brand you want and usually are there the next day or 2 tops unless backordered. just make dr appt for scripts a week or so in advance and drop it off and let them know what u want. As long as it's before 30 days since script date you will be able to fill...you may have to tell your dr to call them bc the ones you got r not working which happens all the time..CVS FOR A FACT...gets the cheapest generics there are...I also take xanax 2mg and although I said Sandoz is best addy, it's the worst xanax for me and does not compare to greenstone (same company that makes the actual xanax brand name ones) then the yellow 2mg bars then the green S 903 bars that are only split into 3 pieces not 4...then sandoz which sucks (gg249 or something like that) but never the the circle ones if 2 mg they are horrible. I know I went off topic myself but alot of people do take both together n good synergy.

I had the exact same reaction. I tried 45 days on mylan and never got past the brain fog, anxiety , and headaches. I had to stop going to cvs and found teva at Duane Read pharmacy.

Exactly! 30 mg amphetamine salt sandoz is so much better. I am pissed that the pharmacist switched my script fill on me with teva nasty sweet bulls*** pills.

Today is day 3 of the Mylan adderall... I got prescripted 2mg twice daily... I filled at CVS.. Which was my very first time and will never do again. Usually I fill at Walgreens and get the Teva brand. I don't get the nasty side effects from the Teva like I have Mylan... I'm shaking, anxious, I have a terrible headache, SO nauseous, and I feel like I'm in a fog/not all the way there... Almost like a zombie feeling. Please tell me these subside after it works its way through your system?? I feel terrible and really don't want to take them tomorrow.
I don't get how the Teva and Mylan are so totally opposite feeling when they supposed to be mimicking the effects of the same brand name drug?!?!? Ugh!

Hello JUICY, once you get what you dont want without notice from them after getting the same brand for however long, you ask the pharmacist if this is what they will be carrying from now on...chances are yes, but just like i did, and do every month i drop off my script a couple days early and tell them you dont want the s*** brand and what you do want and they will place that order for you that same day. It generally takes 1-3 days to arrive, but as long as you ask they will do it..your the one paying, so its your call..but i used cvs n dont anymore..i use shop rite but remind them every month of what to order n they will hold them specifically for you until time to fill. If u already got them there's no returning them, so if that's the case call your dr and let them know and they will call and tell them to order what you want and it will just be the difference, but must be done right away so they dont think your stocking them. And in a couple days you will have what you asked for :)

I hate them and I am so regretting going to CVS to get my prescription filled. I have experimented with my dose and can say there is wayyy more than than the 20% difference the fda allows. THEY SUCK, imo. I feel s***ty and of course this next couple weeks I need to get a lot of super important stuff done, but these Mylan pills have me not wanting to do anything. They keep me in a fog, give me headaches, and at times make me feel nauseous. I am sick of this s***! This is our lives, and it seems like to many, our health these s***ty generics are ****ing with!

I got the same ma30 I took my month supply ended yesterday. I have been to the ER 2 times and my doc yesterday. With the most severe hives ever. I paid 127.99 to feel like crap. Just got script filled they are Aurobindo 30 mg. Now I'm having severe hand and feet cramps. I'm talking about pain I've never felt before. Hoping my doctor can get me another script. The teva have been the best for me, but those you can't find. I'm miserable for taking something that for 20 years has made me feel better.

If you're going to a pharmacy that is switching the meds, it is most cost effective for the company. Tell them you don't want that kind and they make you sick and you only want the ones your body is used to. If they don't have the kind you want go to a new pharmacy.

Look at my post from 7/9/16. The orange ovals you mentioned are Teva brand & work well for me to. The "M A30" are Mylan brand. I was told by my pharmacist that they use different additives in the M A30's & apparently I am highly allergic to one.

You know, I agree with you on that and I have never had or seen these M A30''s they are the same color as Teva-Bar,Aurobindo, and Actavis so I suspect they will be high quality since those company's are all subsidiary's of each other under the name brand Aderrall. I will let you all know when I take it. I don't take it every day. ADD is an ability not a disability. Don't ever forget that, we have emotional intel.

I got the "M A30" by Mylan pharmaceutical for the first time at CVS last week. I started having an allergic reaction and didn't know from what. I stopped taking these pills for a day to see if they were causing it and had no problems. The next day, I took my pill again and had another reaction. Almost my entire body (head to knees) broke out in itchy hives. I took some Benadryl and quit taking the M A30's. I haven't had a problem since. It's been two days. I've never had a problem with any other generic adderall. I definitely do not recommend these.

You did not get a bad batch. I've had the exact experience on them. It doesn't help my concentration at all and I'm extremely sleepy on them. I take 20mg and I usually take half in the morning and half with lunch. With the mylan brand, I feel nothing after taking an entire 20mg pill. These pills are absolute garbage.

I am thinking this months isn't a good 'batch'... I too am struggling to get through a day after a good nights sleep. I take 30mg daily - half am / half pm. Not liking being held hostage to the cheapest manufacturer bidding to CVS for their business. It ends up being a bad ride for those of us who depend on this stuff to function. Mylan is a US company from what I have been able to find out about them. There really needs to be some kind of better regulations for company's making money with generics - making money off of a 'captive audience'. We will buy the generic because we can't afford the real thing, but dang, the generics have to actually work! Very frustrating.

Particle... I have been taking Adderall 30s for the past 4 years. I take half in the morning and half in the afternoon. I have had the oval Peach that work the best and then Costco now sells these white round looking ones that crumble very easily and they were okay but not the greatest and then CVS was selling round pink ones which were I guess the second best and now I just picked some up yesterday and they are Peach round with an m A30- however they don't look like any of the pictures that I've seen online so I don't know if I just got a bad batch but this morning I took a full 30 milligram tablet and I'm having a hard time concentrating. I actually usually take my medications and then go back to bed for 15 minutes and this morning I slept straight through a 30 milligram Adderall for an hour until I had to get up to go to work so I don't know if I got a bad batch or what but these definitely don't work as well as the oval peach ones or actually any of the others that I've tried so I'm going to call CVS and see if they have another brand or some from another manufacturer and see if I can just pay the difference and give what I have back to them because there's no point in taking this medication and if I'm just going to crash and not be able to focus and pay attention at my job especially. I mean I feel like extremely tired right now and I got enough sleep and I've had a full cup of coffee and usually if I have a full cup of coffee and half and Adderall 15 milligrams if I'm not careful I'm jittery but this morning I've actually had one 30 milligram and then I woke up not feeling focused feeling tired and so I took another half and have had a cup of coffee and I still do not feel the effects that my Adderall normally take care of for me which is the concentration the focus the energy to do my job to get up in the mornings to do what I need to do on a daily basis and I haven't changed anything else so all I can say is it's this Brand, this manufacturer Mylan which I've heard of before but this months prescription is not working for me. If anyone else has had this issue with the Mylan Peach round shaped tablet imprinted with m A30 on the front please let me know, because either I'm crazy or I got a bad batch or these just don't work. Thank you. I appreciate your help.

Walgreen's in my town is TERRIBLE. They never have anything ready and never have insurance right, never answer the phone. Grrrr. Thank you though! I am assuming they are better in other towns. I LOVE Walgreen's in every other aspect better than CVS, but NOT their pharmacy. :/
