Amphetamine Salts Orange Round 30 Mg Imprint "m A30" (Page 2)

I just got a refill of 30mg tabs amphetamine salts. This month I have been switched again! I can't find any information on this particular brand - it's imprint is M A30, it's orange and round. The pharm company is Mylan I think. I have had the orange ovals (most effective and metabolized for me), the round pink (made my stomach upset), and now these. I am starting to feel like a guinea pig for any new cheap product that comes along. Distributers don't pay attention to how all of these changes may be affecting the users of their products. Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has tried these orange round tabs from Mylan Pharm Inc??

Bejeebuss I hope I got that right anyway the round peach ones M A 30 yes they suck. No good at all. I was on orange oval 30 mg #s one one side scored in the middle sucked for 2 months so now taking my chanse with the bright pink ones. I hope i made good choice Im tired of sleeping all day on adderall.

I was on the teva 30mg for quite a while and these seem very smooth and no drastic mood changes when it wears off. My pharmacy switched me on the last refill to the Mylan and I've noticed I've been far more anxious to the point of needing both my PRNs for anxiety which I normally don't need that often on the teva. I almost get the feeling of shortness of breath, creepy crawly and almost like a stomach ulcer feeling and it gets worse when it wears off and I get really irritable. The only major difference I've noted is teva uses amphetamine aspertate monohydrate in 7.5 mg where Mylan uses an amphetamine aspertate monohydrate EQUIVALENT in 7.5 which is equivalent to 7.03mg amphetamine aspartate (anhydrous).... Not quite sure what all that means and could not find more specific details on the chemical equivalent, but Mylan is definitely not for me.

I have been on 20mg generic amphetamine salt combo for about a year and half. Up to now, I've had the same round pink/peach tablet that is scored in half. I believe it was the BARR generic manufacturer. I've never had any issue, or felt that I needed to up the dosage. I always followed my routine - eat breakfast, take 1/2 a tablet, eat lunch, take other 1/2. It worked like a charm. I had all three meals, and felt focused throughout the day. I had no issues winding down or going to sleep at the days end. I recently moved to North Carolina, and got the same exact pill/manufacturer as usual on my first visit to the CVS. On my second visit/refill earlier this month, however, I got a different pill. I noticed the shape / scoring difference immediately, but thought "whatever, I'll give it a go." Well, it's been nearly a month. This generic manufacturer or pill is absolutely NOT comparable. It's far less potent and I feel as though I need to take more throughout the day and still don't feel focused. It's not about feeling "energized" or "speedy" at all. It's that I don't feel as though I can finish a sentence or maintain a conversation. My work has noticeably been affected, and I'm not happy that my pharmacist didn't even tell me I was getting a different brand or warn of any differences. Very unprofessional. Personally, I want the previous manufacturer / tablets back. If the CVS downtown cannot accommodate, I will go to a different pharmacy. Actually, I will go to a different pharmacy anyways. They 100% should have discussed the change with me or at the VERY least told me that I was getting something different.

I also got the 30 mg MYLANs and 10 mg MYLANs that are blue. I have noticed the blue pills are more potent than the orange. The orange don't seem to do anything. I've been on adderall or other ADHD meds for 15+ years and have not seen quality this terrible ever. TEVA and sometimes Santoz were much more effective. Does anybody know which manufacturer is good right now? Also, has anybody has IR brand name from Shire? Weighing paying more for the brand if it's worth it...

I just filled my script and it has b974 on the pill. By Teva 30mg or. I usually take them before I get out of bed, which is usually 6:00. Well with this Teva I could barley get out of bed. I made it to the sofa and all I could do was sit there until I fell asleep. It tasted like a piece of sugar candy. Definitely not like the ones I was on.

Staycee, I know for a fact that the 30s aren't the same as Teva so I'm sure the 20s are the same way

I researched extensively after reacting badly to the Mylan 30 mg.
They are not the same as the Teva brand. Aside from some differences in fillers, teva uses amphetamine aspertate monohydrate in 7.5 mg where Mylan uses an amphetamine aspertate monohydrate EQUIVALENT in 7.5 which is equivalent to 7.03mg amphetamine aspartate (anhydrous).

I spoke with a pharmacist at CVS yesterday and she said they will only carry Mylan going forward. Does anyone know which pharmacies carry other manufacturers???

I have been on the M A30's for a few weeks ago (CVS is my pharmacy). I agree that they feel "weaker"....i.e. my appetite isn't suppressed hardly at all and I don't have the energy I have with the oval orange ones. HowEVER, I think I just realized today that they actually DO help me concentrate MORE than the oval ones! Pros and cons I guess..... It's crazy to me that generics are allowed to be any different than the name brand, but they definitely are.

Walgreens only carries orange teva 20 and 30 mgs. They dont carry mylan they are junk.hope this helps you out.

Walgreen's in my town is TERRIBLE. They never have anything ready and never have insurance right, never answer the phone. Grrrr. Thank you though! I am assuming they are better in other towns. I LOVE Walgreen's in every other aspect better than CVS, but NOT their pharmacy. :/

Particle... I have been taking Adderall 30s for the past 4 years. I take half in the morning and half in the afternoon. I have had the oval Peach that work the best and then Costco now sells these white round looking ones that crumble very easily and they were okay but not the greatest and then CVS was selling round pink ones which were I guess the second best and now I just picked some up yesterday and they are Peach round with an m A30- however they don't look like any of the pictures that I've seen online so I don't know if I just got a bad batch but this morning I took a full 30 milligram tablet and I'm having a hard time concentrating. I actually usually take my medications and then go back to bed for 15 minutes and this morning I slept straight through a 30 milligram Adderall for an hour until I had to get up to go to work so I don't know if I got a bad batch or what but these definitely don't work as well as the oval peach ones or actually any of the others that I've tried so I'm going to call CVS and see if they have another brand or some from another manufacturer and see if I can just pay the difference and give what I have back to them because there's no point in taking this medication and if I'm just going to crash and not be able to focus and pay attention at my job especially. I mean I feel like extremely tired right now and I got enough sleep and I've had a full cup of coffee and usually if I have a full cup of coffee and half and Adderall 15 milligrams if I'm not careful I'm jittery but this morning I've actually had one 30 milligram and then I woke up not feeling focused feeling tired and so I took another half and have had a cup of coffee and I still do not feel the effects that my Adderall normally take care of for me which is the concentration the focus the energy to do my job to get up in the mornings to do what I need to do on a daily basis and I haven't changed anything else so all I can say is it's this Brand, this manufacturer Mylan which I've heard of before but this months prescription is not working for me. If anyone else has had this issue with the Mylan Peach round shaped tablet imprinted with m A30 on the front please let me know, because either I'm crazy or I got a bad batch or these just don't work. I am thinking this months isn't a good 'batch'... I too am struggling to get through a day after a good nights sleep. I take 30mg daily - half am / half pm. Not liking being held hostage to the cheapest manufacturer bidding to CVS for their business. It ends up being a bad ride for those of us who depend on this stuff to function. Mylan is a US company from what I have been able to find out about them. There really needs to be some kind of better regulations for company's making money with generics - making money off of a 'captive audience'. We will buy the generic because we can't afford the real thing, but dang, the generics have to actually work! Very frustrating.

You did not get a bad batch. I've had the exact experience on them. It doesn't help my concentration at all and I'm extremely sleepy on them. I take 20mg and I usually take half in the morning and half with lunch. With the mylan brand, I feel nothing after taking an entire 20mg pill. These pills are absolute garbage.

I got the "M A30" by Mylan pharmaceutical for the first time at CVS last week. I started having an allergic reaction and didn't know from what. I stopped taking these pills for a day to see if they were causing it and had no problems. The next day, I took my pill again and had another reaction. Almost my entire body (head to knees) broke out in itchy hives. I took some Benadryl and quit taking the M A30's. I haven't had a problem since. It's been two days. I've never had a problem with any other generic adderall. I definitely do not recommend these.

You know, I agree with you on that and I have never had or seen these M A30''s they are the same color as Teva-Bar,Aurobindo, and Actavis so I suspect they will be high quality since those company's are all subsidiary's of each other under the name brand Aderrall. I will let you all know when I take it. I don't take it every day. ADD is an ability not a disability. Don't ever forget that, we have emotional intel.
