I've been told that the amlodyne was a misspelling of amlodipine as heard over the telephone - sorry for the red herring

So far I haven’t been able to verify that they are both the same. Can you please post back where you obtained this from? It could very well be a foreign medicine, perhaps an equivalent to what is available in the United States.
