I have taken this drug for 2 years and the last time I refilled it look completely different. Its much smaller and its a small round pill that has Z3 stamped on one side. I want to make sure it the right pill.

Amlodipine is actually a generic medication and once a drug is available as a generic, it is usually manufactured by several different companies, this helps to create market competition to keep prices lower…. but in case of emergency, they are all required to use unique imprints on the tablets, so they can be identified and traced back to the appropriate manufacturer, so in regards to some medications, there could be 10 different tablets available that all contain the same drug in the same dosage.
