Amlodipine 5 Mg Zyd
UpdatedMy pharmacist changed my regular amlodipine 5 mg zyd to amlodipine besylate 5 mg which is a much bigger pill. Is this the right dosage? I am thinking of taking it back to the pharmacy...I hate it when they make changes and say nothing!

It is the same medication, just manufactured by a different company, this is very common with generics.
Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure. Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain.
Is there anything else I can help with?
