Alternative To Sulfinpyrazone

allergy to allopurinol and have taken sulfinpyrazole for 8 years with relief but am unablr to get it now

That's a shame. I'm in the UK and get it prescribed, using 100 to 200mg daily with good effect, being like you, unable to tolerate Allopurinol.

Any idea why SPyrazone was ceased in US?

January 2016 just told Sufinpyrazine not being made. Abd I reacted ti Alopurinol toi.

So what's the alternative to Sulfinryrazone?

Just tried to get my supply of sulfinpyrazone with no joy. Been taking 200mg daily for 20 years with no problems. Tried all the others and had bad reactions. What do I take or is it feet amputation time!!!!!

Any update if they will revrand Sulfinpyrazone or issue something else? Since January I have been advised to increase my Colchicine and now 14th December have my first full.on Gout attack. SO NOT happy.
