Alprazolam Dava Xanax - The Worst! (Page 2)

Dava Xanax 0.5 mg SUCKS! They're yellow ovals marked with an S and 901. They've been sued by Justice department in the past (2010) for distributing drugs that were half strength. We normally take 1.5 mg qd, but are allocated #3 tabs 0.5 mg qd. Even taking #3 we had no effect. What ever company makes oval peach coloured tabs have always been efficacious. Dava, a repackager of generics needs examination by DEA & US Attorney—they can analyze the crap we were given.

I have tried EVERY manufacture. Mylan is the worst imo. I also think each person it's different for. For e.g. Dava 2 mg pills are actually very sedating. Though, sometimes they have a glue smell in the bottles. I take them as prescribed and soon feel very tired. With Greenstone I can function and still my symptoms are helped greatly. Someone made a perfect example. It's like a social anxiety medication, where as Dava is more for panic attacks. I would say that's 100% accurate in my case as well. I'm switching to greenstone because Dava is too sedating.

DAVA Alprazolam is garbage. They are a joke and should be taken off the market. They made me physically ill. I was on Greenstone for years with never a problem. So all at once CVS stores run out of all Alprazolam. They replaced the Greenstone lab pills with DAVA. Yea to make a extra buck $. Trust me, don't buy DAVA because you will regret it. Better off buying a sugar pill.

I have been taking the yellow 2mg Alprazolam for 10 years and it’s a generic and no problems. Sams switched my last script to the Dava brand with green 2mg bars....ATTENTION!!!! These green 2mg bars are total crap...they do NOT WORK. I have used nothing but generics since 2006 and never a problem. For the last month I have wrestled with the effects of days without sleep and horrible withdrawal symptoms for over a month before doing my research online. This pill has NO effect whatsoever... Thanks to everyone for posting. Just google their legal history. Shame on Sams for even offering such an inferior product. There are negative posts and reviews as far back as 2010 so the data is out there just search.

Cvs carries it. I hate it. But it is all they carry in the .05 mg now.

I disagree. Those dava brands are helping people when you could just as easily ask for pharmacies to switch brands, instead of making it harder on others just make it easier on yourself.

In case anyone was wondering, the reason the green s 90 3 2mg Xanax bars aren’t coning back is because Breckenridge bought Dava/Par's patent on their generic version, altered the formula and those are the blue bars we see being dispensed now.

Maybe it’s just your body chemistry, but the Greenstones’ even the Sandoz GG249’s are more sedating to me than the Dava’s. I remember specifically because one of the main reasons I take it is for the drowsiness; and after doing a month to month side by side comparison; I voluntarily chose the Sandoz brand for my refills over the Dava (which were both available to me at the time), specifically because the Dava’s were the LEAST sedating brand I’ve ever tried. I presumed they were low-key delayed-release pills.
