Aldactone contains the active ingredient Spironolactone, it is an aldosterone agonist and potassium sparing diuretic that has many medical uses, such as clearing up acne, treating edema and high blood pressure.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, low blood pressure and dehydration.
