My son has been on Addnok-N for a few months now for treating opiate addiction and i would like to know what would happen if he took a hit of his old drugs while being on this medication? He takes three tablets of Addnok daily.

It will block them from working. That is one of its intended effects, when treating addiction.

The NIH warns that Addnok-N, however, does also carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

Is there anything else I can help with?
