Addiction And Adhd The Price Of Not Getting Treatment

At age 6 got diagnosed ADHD.hated school,was shy,could not pay attention, got in fights .so Ritalin was prescribed.started to do ok,but c student.then parents started having problems so basically I was forgotten about my treatment .finally divorce.which I have 2 brothers 3 sisters.it tore family apart,but I never shed tear or talked about it.well about 14 I started taking white crosses,they seemed to help,then 16 cannabis. smoked 2 years nonstop, then it got me paranoid,I broke back that's when I found wat I thought was fixing everything. oxycontin, hydros, oxycodone. I never felt better ,popular,great mood,thought this is my fix for depression,anxiety,social awkwardness. well finally it took more and more,I stole,lied,cheated,Dr.shopping,jail numerous times.finally I found suboxone which again I thought was all I needed,I was going on 3 year started the symptoms of depression,anxiety,start something not finish .no friends,relationships sucked,then u went to psychiatrist,course he had all paperwork.he told me,ADHD I'm betting is your problem cause he read when I was treated I started to improve. so vyvanse 50 mg,Zoloft,xanax he put me on oh still on suboxone,.im just writing this cause my life is great now.i remember things, finish tasks,social, have girlfriend. my family accepts me again.i could go on. but if anyone out there has dealt with this, write something too me I have overcome so much .

Wow! You have come through a lot and have much you should be proud of! Way to go!!

I haven't dealt with it myself, but that's got to be so hard to pull yourself out of, how did you do it?

WoW ahh... i Have lived the same Exact life.... wait for it!!.... with the same exact substances in the same exact order with the same exact result... subutex and adhd meds equal new life... f***ing scary
