Took acetamin w/cod 1/2 gr #3 4 hours ago but it did not relieve pain. Can I take one more? Instructions say take every. 8 hours. Or shouuld I take 800 mg of ibuprofen instead.

Hi Suee,
Since the instructions say to take the Acetaminophen/Codeine every 8 hours- I would follow that and just take the Ibuprofen. I checked and there shouldn't be any negative reactions when taking Acetaminophen/Codeine and Ibuprofen in the same day.
Keep in mind, I am not a doctor so any advice given is solely based on my opinion and research.
