Has anyone tried it?
I wouldn't hit a dog in the ass with. Zubsolve 5,7 stick to the 8 mg film put it this way been on sub for six years, switched 6 weeks ago you got to eat 3 to come close to a 8 mg strip.Getting switched back they can keep them.
Yes I am on 5.7 Zubsolv and just got bumped up to the new 8.6 Zubsolv. I've been having problems 5.7. I used to take regular film suboxone. 8 no room milligram. that works so much better than the 5.7 Zubsolv. now they just came out with 8.6 Zubsolv. waiting for the pharmacy to call me right now for it to come in; he had to order it. I'm going nuts right now. you said 1 o'clock a day it before and now I went to get it he said 3 o'clock. Now I'm home waiting. hope there is a difference between 5. 7 and the new one because I don't feel the same stupid thoughts in my head still craving. On the 5.7. So he moved me up to the 8. 6 new ones. We will see.
Did you know company's that make generics are allowed to only put 80% of the active ingredient in their product? Look it up
They don't work the same for everyone. I go in withdrawal way sooner on zubsolv. It's so bad it wakes me up in the middle of the night and the strips don't do that.
subs come in 2mg tabs as well as 8mg. makes easier to taper.
But crushing them supposedly affects the bio-availability & make the Zubs less effective. I'm guessing I'm at .5mg of Zub a day. It's frustrating guessing how much I'm breaking off & end up doing more than I want. So how are we supposed to taper? I wish some of Orexo's employees had opiate addictions. Then they could see firsthand the hell it is trying to taper off this stuff. They could make life a lot easier for addicts who really want to break the death grip that opiate addiction has on us. The brutal truth is the longer we stay on their meds, the more money they rake in. They've got a money making monster & I don't see them changing it for the benefit of the addict any time soon. I'm not blaming them. I got myself in this mess. But if you're going to claim you want to help addicts taper off of their addiction, at least make the Zubs/Subs in sizes we can taper off of without having to do all the guesswork by cutting/crushing them into tiny pieces & compromising their effectiveness... PLEASE!
i know that wellcare has not stopped paying also my doctor started taking Humana Passport and Wellcare for the actual doctor fee so now i dont have to pay a dollar for treatment
I've been on zubsolv for about 6 months now and was on 5.7 one time a day. Wasn't working as well and started getting those thoughts that you wish would never come through your head so talked to my doc and actually they just came out with the 8.6. I feel alot better now just worried my tolerance will just keep goin up with this just like with the dope. Then what? I've been doing very well but lately just been havin these crazy thoughts. But I love how a lot of people on here are saying zubsolv and suboxone aren't the same lol some people are really in there head bad worse then me haha. I've taken both and have had the same result. I just want to be normal again.
Yeah I guess like everything else it has different results for different people. For me the strength feels pretty much the same - but the half life doesn't feel the same. I go into withdrawal much much quicker.
The only possible benefit to this is that maybe it won't be as hard to kick as suboxone (which is a MONSTER to get off of). In fact I haven't been able to.
Zubsolv is great, much better taste. Try it! No reason to continue with suboxone.
Pocket, I have the exact same problem. As far as strength I don't feel a 5.7 is equal to a 8mg sub..
I hve been on it a month now. The only difference I can tell is that it seems to not work for as long as suboxone. It might just be my addict imagination, but I swear I can begin feeling slightly ill (very beginning of withdrawals) after about 24 from my last dose of suboxone. Anyone else agree? I was on suboxone on and off for the last 7 years or so and opiate addict about 8 or 9 yeas now.
I'm on the zubsolv the past 2 days and while I would usually (for over 4 years now take anywhere from a half to a full suboxone film 8/2 mg) I've taken 2 and a half of the zub pills that as required supposed to equal the same dosage and while my husband's okay, I not even NOT ACHEY..WTF
My insurance switched me to zubsolv bc they wouldn't cover suboxone. I feel no difference and I'm saving about 800$ a month. I actually think it works better. I feel like I have more energy. Worth the switch no doubt.
Zubsolv has made me become a better person. My outlook on life has changed a full 360. I am proud of myself even though some around me want to try take me down to where i used to be. I pray they too can stand up for themselves and get help like i did. I have heard that some insurances, wellcare, coventry etc has stopped paying for meds here in ky so you have to pay for dr and meds - is this true!!?? I'm worried.
I have used both suboxone and zubsolv. I have had phenomenal results with zubsolv. Suboxone gave me instant headaches and horrendous stomach cramps!!! Zubsolv dissolves and tastes better as well. I am so grateful that orexo came out with a much better choice! They also have an awesome program whether you have insurance or not. Zubsolv saved my life. Thank you orexo and my awesome Dr.
It feels much weaker to me too. Not sure if I'll go back to subutex
Yes it does. Also just came out with a larger size as well. I asked to be raised to 3 of the larger ones (8.something) because the 5.7 weren't cutting it and was told there not allowed to write 3 a day of them. Its only for people taking lower doses than three 5.7 a day.
my doc, who is the best known and most knowledgeable addiction doc in colorado, says there are MANY doctors who are misinformed about these things. and that is a real shame.
