I used to take Atatax for itching and as a light sedative/antihistamine (1 tablet per night). Now Pfizer are no longer manufacturing this drug. my Dr has now prescribed Urbanol 10mg and I am afraid of taking this medication as i have read that it is the same as Zolpidem, Zolpihexal and these are for Insomnia and I dont suffer from Insomnia only the itching. My pharmacist said to only take them when necessary, and I dont feel that they will work the same as Atarax which I took everyday day!!! ## No, Urbanol is not the same as Zolpidem. It contains the active ingredient Clobazam, which is a Benzodiazepine derivative that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. Atarax contained the active ingredient Hydroxyzine and it is still available. Are there any other questio...

Yes this little Peach tablet is Zolpidem I take these but I don't like them because I still wake up twice during the night and I'm Up by 4 a.m. and can't get back to sleep I used to take the same medication but in a small white tablet and I only needed half of one and I would sleep all night long I don't know if it's the manufacturer that makes him or not but this one is by Torrent. It is weaker than the small white tablet with the 6469/V on it. ## Ok so here's the deal. The old white 6469 pill you were on was the much beloved Qualitest Zolpidem. Damn near everybody loved that one to death. Sadly, they discontinued it about a year back, so you can never get it again. If it makes you feel any better, there is a whole contingent of us fellow Qualitest Missers mad a...

I take trazodone every night as well as sparingly Advil pm and sometimes melatonin or benadryl. Can any of these show a false positive for ambien? ## Maybe it was the Tylenol PM that you took that would make it seem like it was an Ambien. So they really have tests that can tell whether you took an Ambien or not? MO ## i attend an out patient program i see the lab form they make you sign. it's a 12 panel urine test. i took a few Ambien will it come up or can it give a false positive for opiates or amphetamines??

Filled my Rx from a pharmacy in India. No serial number on tablet. White long oval shaped in silver packaging. Does not seem to work. ## Zoltrate-10 should technically contain 10 mg of Zolpidem, so this is a foreign version of Ambien. I don't think that meds from India have to carry inscriptions like how drugs in the US do, but there is a huge manufacturing sector for generic drugs out there. If it's not working then is could be fake. Did you fill your prescription from a fairly reputable pharmacy? ## Cost of Manufacturing medication is pennies in North America (you just pay through the nose) and much much less in India; so there is no point in cheating or making counterfeit drugs. Drug manufacturers want happy repeat customers!!! ## I get fed up with people suggesting that medi...

I was arrested for a DUI. I refused the breath test, I was given a blood test. My results came back .05 BAC. But diazepam was found in my blood and also nordiazepam. I had .043 MG/L of ambien in my blood.(Is this considered an amount for impaired driving? Also I have never taken diazepam and don't even know what nordiazepam is? How can these drugs show up in my blood test and I never took them? ## On the cheaper, less reliable tests, it seems anything is possible. False positives are known to occur on them anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time. Have you recently taken any other kind of medication (over-the-counter or prescription)? Something else you took is very likely the cause of these false positives. If you recall taking anything whatsoever, I can do some research on it in hopes o...

Need to know what this pill is. It's a small round pill with the following imprints on each side: Side (1): 2 / Z Side (2): 2 / 29 I don't know if there's any additional information I can provide in order to find out what it is. ## Is it a round pink tablet? If so, I believe the marking is intended to be SZ 229, it is manufactured by Sandoz and they list it as containing 12.5mgs of Zolpidem, which is a generic for Ambien, it is used for the short-term treatment of insomnia. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, funny taste in mouth, hallucinations, sleep actions, and next-day hangover-like effects.

I have been taking zolpidem 10mg due to not sleeping. I did fine on Mylan zolpidem for years. Now I'm having stomach issues on Northstar zolpidem. Is anyone else experiencing the same symptoms? ## What type of stomach issues? Are you sure they are due to the Zolpidem? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, funny taste in mouth, hallucinations, sleep actions, and next day hangover-like effects. Are you on any other medications? Has anything else changed in your diet, recently?

I just received a prescription of these that originated from India. I took one dose last night but I'm not sure it really worked. I just slept for about 4 hours. Does anyone know about this medicine or have taken it? ## In my investigation, Google and other search engines have nothing on Zoltnite, other than a couple black market references suggesting that it may be related to Zolpidem (Ambien). Since Zolpidem is really the closest matching drug name I could find and is indicated for use as a sleep aid, I can only imagine that Zoltnite (based on its name) may be used for similar purposes... Does your prescription or product packaging mention who the manufacturer is? ## HELLO: THIS MED ZOLT NITE-10mg IS MANUFACTURED BY DIGITAL VISION PHARMA. FOR OTHER MEDICAL DISTRIBUTORS. YOU CAN LO...

I suffer from insomnia and have been asked to take some Zolpidem to see if it will help. Thank you for any feedback from others who've also been on this medication. ## It can help for short-term treatment of insomnia. Though, the NIH warns that it carries the risk of causing side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, sleep actions, funny taste in mouth, hallucinations, and sleep actions. Have you tried taking it, yet? Are you on any other medications?

I got the 5 in Zolpidem and i love it. I slept soooo well last night. I do have a prescription from Dr, but i live way out of town and run out sometimes so this is my backup. I absolutely cannot sleep without it. I am having no problems with it at all. Love it. Pricey and it took 4 weeks to get here so order early. ## what pharmacy did you use? ## {edited for policy reasons} It took about 3 weeks to get though. I do feel like 5mg is too strong. Will cut in half. ## Someone received zoltnite zolpidem from India and nothing comes up w that name in any search. Has anyone heard of this brand? Thanks in advance. ## I got some Zoltnite and it makes my stomach sick the next day every time I use it. It puts me to sleep but I spend the next day in the bathroom. ## I got Zoltnite for the first ti...

What is the active ingredient of this tablet? How many of zolfresh 10mg are considered a normal dose? ## Hi Navi, I'd sure like to hope that you're not "that person" overdosing on Zolfresh. Based on my research, 10 mgs daily of the immediate release formula is the maximum recommended dose of Zolfresh (Zolpidem). There's really no good reason for a person to take anything over that; especially 50x that!! According to a drug monograph on wikipedia, an overdose of Zolpidem may lead to too much sedation as well as impaired respiratory function. Either of these could potentially develop into a coma, & in some cases death. Something very important to remember or even take note of, is that Zolpidem overdosage can be remedied with what's called a benzodiazepine recep...

Hi. The pharmacist gave my mom her refill on her zolpidem and she didn't really pay attention and thought it was a new prescription for sleeping since it was a peachy orange color. It has been giving her really bad nightmares ever since she has been taken it. The bottle says zolpidem but this has never done this to her before and she has always gotten a white pill (so have I). Do you think they messed up and gave her the wrong med? It just came to my attention tonight. ## Hey there. So yeah Zolpidem is a generic drug and made by a ton of different companies, so the pills indeed are difrerent colors and/ or shapes depending on whos making it. From the way you describe this particular pill your mom is on, Im guessing its Torrent. And Torrent is crapola on a stick. It gives me intense ...

Is Alzam stronger than adco zolpidem? What does it do to me to prevent my outbursts of rage and be able to reason with things I know I could never fathom considering? ## Alzam is a benzodiazepine, so it is stronger and much more calming. However, the U.S. FDA does warn that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?

What is some of the side affects and should I be worried? With combining these drugs, and if they might be drinking also. Thanks ## Based on my research, there are potentially unsafe drug interactions between these two medications. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "Using zolpidem together with venlafaxine may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience some impairment in thinking and judgment. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications. Avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medications affect you. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. I have insomnia issues long term since APS related migraines etc.. Loved the Zolpidem 5mg pink caplets(oval) as could break even into 3 if it is 4 in the morning but am bouncing off rem sleep. My pharmacy no longer carries that brand but uses tiny 5 mg unbreakable white circular pills. The full 5 mg gives me that awful "hangover"How can I find a pharmacy that carries this 5 mg pink caplet?? How much is it? My insurance won't cover unless it is through their pharmacy. It is worth paying a little more if I can get by taking less & not wiping out the next day. ## Are you saying your previous brand you liked was Qualitest? Ive only ever used the 10mg so I dont know specifically what Qualitest 5 looks like. However, if it was Qualitest you had before and liked, you are out of...

I just need to identify what pill this is. ## A white oval tablet with A10 on one side and APO on the other side is most likely Atorvastatin Calcium 10mg (NDC 60429-323). It is a generic for Lipitor and is part of the "statin" drugs for lowering cholesterol. Below is an image: Now, I said "most likely", because there is another drug with a different NDC code which is coming up as having the same imprint codes. That tablet is Alendronic Acid 10mg (NDC 60505-2593), which is an osteoporosis drug. Sorry but I don't have a picture for this one. The way you could tell WHICH one it is would be to measure the tablet. If it is 9mm wide then it's the first one. If it's a bit smaller at 6mm then it's the second one. I hope this info helps! You can follow either of ...
