Zoloft For Anxiety
UpdatedMy wife has very bad anxiety. She can't sleep more than an hour or two a night. Her dr. says it's depression, which she doesn't have. I'm just wondering if Zoloft is right choice for her. She has been taking it but doesn't seem to be helping.

Zoloft can help with both conditions, my husband takes it for anxiety. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain.
What dosage is she on and how long has she been taking it? It takes about 4 to 5 weeks for this medication to reach its full level of effectiveness in your body.
