Yellow Oblong Pill With No Imprint

I would like to know about this oblong bright yellow pill I found and whether my son could be abusing it or if he's doing something else?

By law the FDA requires that any controlled medication in the United States be identifiable by its appearance (color, imprint, shape, size etc.). With that being said the pill that you found could be a supplement, vitamin, a foreign drug or illegal substance. It is extremely difficult to identify any of those based off of just the outer appearance of a pill due to the sheer volume of brands and types of vitamins and supplements available in the U.S.

If you want to know about the contents of the pill you can try bringing it to your local pharmacy and see if they are able to identify the contents inside, otherwise you can drop the pill off at any of your local drug drop offs also located at your pharmacy or hospital.
