Hey just wanted to reply to ur post....I looked up this pill n picture matched etc....n it says its used for pain as well as seizures n restless leg n insomnia..... Was just thinking if its used for pain wont it get u high?

Hi i have a friend that was given these IP 102 yellow capsules an was told that they could take them to stop taking street drugs is this true im scared they are going to get hurt taking something that was prescribed to them.

I was just put on this for extreme nerve pain in the back...It has several uses such as for epilepsy (sure I spelt that wrong) but basicly they found that it works well on nerve pain so it will be used for that as well...Bottom line please be careful taking meds your not sure of...I take this with rapid release morphine and fentanyl patches all for back and knee pain...It was given to me due to all narcotics not cutting it and ultimately becoming imune to them...I hope this helps some...And yes whomever said it's name is Gabapentin you are correct...Have a good day...

Neuroten // technically it is a generic called Gabapentin. 300mg .
I've personally recently started this medication for PTSD and following symptoms such as insomnia,anxiety,night terrors,etc.
I do also have pain(nerve) issues with my back ,but ultimately . It did minimize the pain to an extent. Initially it was prescribed to me for PTSD.
I started at 300 mg the first three days taking one each morning . Then increased to 600mg for three days taking morning an night . Increased again every three days till my body built a tolerance to the highest dosage . I now don't have to take as many pills a day with one prescription on top of what they have me already taking. I have to say it has been a life saver for me.
If you genuinely have certain issues this medication can and will benefit you regarding those specific needs. It is also used in epileptic patients,Neuro patients,restless leg syndrome patients. An some migraine patients.etc...

For those looking for a street high you will not find it in this Rx . It simply is a medicine that builds a tolerance to fast . Unlike some Narcotics you find . Another thing to be warned about are some adverse effects it could have if you are just taking it for street high.

Gabapentin will definitely get you high/feel drunk, only problem is if you want to feel the high you need to take more and more each day, I get the 800mg big boys and I just grabbed 300 of these ip 102 ones for pennies because once in a while I take 4 of the 800's and a few kpins to feel numb. Yum

If it is used to control seizures then there is a chance that it's Gabapentin after all. Anybody have additional details such as the manufacturer's name, country, or anything else?

No, neurontin (gabapentin is the generic form) will not make you feel high. At least not in the sense that taking a hydrocodone or an oxycodone will. I started taking this drug 4 years ago for nerve pain after a spinal cord injury. When i first started taking it, i took 300mg 3x a day and it made me so sleepy i could barely keep my head up. If you're looking for something to make you sleep, which is not it's intent, or if you have nerve pain then this is the drug for you. If not, then you need to take something else. Over time your body will adjust to the dosage. My nerve pain is severe so it took some time to find the right dosage for me. I currently take 1500mg 3x times a day.

No, it will not make you high. I have taken it for about a year now for nerve damage and pain with unknown cause. It surely does work. You can take up to 2400mg a day. I have found it works better with Cymbalta for maximum benefit from nerve pain.

IP over 102 written on a yellow capsule is Gabapentin 300mg. It is manufactured by amneal pharma and carries an NDC# of 53746-0102-05

It is not at all an opiate alkaloid. It is a GABA precurser, a neurotransmitter.
